Despite all the negativities and mixed reviews, Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif starrer Zero did well on its first Monday. Although the decline in the collection is approx. 54% compared to Sunday, it can be termed a normal drop because word of mouth publicity is not very encouraging.
As per the box office reports, the film earned approx. 9.50 crore on first Monday to take its total domestic box office collection to 68.57 crore after 4 days. The film is doing excellent business in Delhi/NCR; other regions are just average or below average. It failed to garner the desired collection from Mumbai/Gujarat regions. Christmas holiday may help the film to cross 10 crore mark on Tuesday, but nothing can be predicted at the moment.
