Like the opening day, Saturday also did not bring much excitement for Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero at the domestic box office. The film failed to make the most of the Saturday as it witnessed a small decline in the collection on the second day.
As per the box office reports, the film earned 18.22 crore on Saturday to take its total domestic box office collection to 38.36
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collection of the film on Twitter. “#Zero slips on Day 2… Biz should’ve witnessed solid growth on Day 2 after an underwhelming Day 1, but is struggling at the BO… Decline on Day 2 [vis-à-vis Day 1]: 9.53%… Fri 20.14 cr, Sat 18.22 cr. Total: ₹ 38.36 cr. India biz.“, he wrote.
If the collection remains in the same range on Sunday, it might join the list of disasters of 2018. Also, it has only one open week, so a big total in the lifetime is now out of the equation. In the best scenario, it will score a century in its lifetime.
The box office collection of Zero is as follows:
Friday (Day 1): ₹ 20.14 cr
Saturday (Day 2): ₹ 18.22 cr
Total: ₹ 38.36 cr
Lifetime may be 95-110 crore.
