Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor starrer Veere Di Wedding managed to get a decent number of footfalls on its first Monday. Although the film had more than 50% drop in the collection on Monday compared with Sunday, it was able to earn more than 5 crores. The film is performing extremely well in Delhi/NCR multiplexes and because of that, it has been doing so good so far.
As per the box office reports, the film collected 6.04 crores on Monday to take its total domestic box office collection to 42.56 crores after 4 days. As the film has a limited audience, it will not be able to follow the path of Raazi, however, it will cross the 50 crores mark in the very first week.
#VeereDiWedding passes crucial ‘Monday Test’… North India continues to contribute strongly… Decline on Mon [vis-à-vis Fri] is a normal 43.55% – GOOD TRENDING… Eyeing ₹ 54 cr [+/-] biz in Week 1… Fri 10.70 cr, Sat 12.25 cr, Sun 13.57 cr, Mon 6.04 cr. Total: ₹ 42.56 cr.

Except Delhi/NCR, all other regions witnessed a sharp decline on Monday, so a big lifetime collection is out of the equation now. Also, Jurassic World – Fallen Kingdom which will release on Thursday might hinder its good run in Delhi/NCR.
The business of the film is as follows:
Friday (Day 1): ₹ 10.70 cr
Saturday (Day 2): ₹ 12.25 cr
Saturday (Day 3): ₹ 13.57 cr
Monday (Day 4): ₹ 6.04 cr
Total: ₹ 42.56 cr
