Mohit Raina and Yami Gautam starrer Uri The Surgical Strike made the most of the national holiday on its third Saturday. Despite facing competition from Manikarnika and Thackeray, Uri witnessed a massive growth on day 16.

As per the box office reports, the film amassed 9.75 crore on third Saturday to take its total domestic box office collection to 148.18 crore after 16 days. Although the film does not feature any big name, the positive word of mouth is helping it in crossing new milestones every day. The current box office trend indicates that it should surpass 155 crore on third Sunday. There is no big release until 14th February, so Uri may surprise trade pundits by reaching 200 crore in its lifetime.
