Uri The Surgical Strike and The Accidental Prime Minister did excellent business in the first week. Anupam Kher’s TAPM did decline after the weekend, but Uri performed like a big movie during the weekdays and is all set to score a century very soon.

As per the box office reports, Uri earned 7.35 crore on first Thursday to take its total domestic box office collection to 70.89 crore after 7 days. Had the film got a bigger release, it would have crossed 100 crore in the very first week. It has already earned super HIT tag and has potential to become the first blockbuster of 2019. The movie is doing good business in every parts of India, which no Bollywood movie has done in recent time.

Another release The Accidental Prime Minister witnessed some decline in the collection during the weekdays as moviegoers preferred Uri. TAPM is a kind of documentary movie and is running on about 1000 screens, so big numbers are out of the equation. The film garnered about 24 crore in the first week.
