Vidya Balan’s Tumhari Sulu had a slow start on its opening day. Although the film picked up in the evening shows, it was not sufficient to post a good total on day one. It does not have any big star and has to rely on its content to perform at the box office. The first-day collection of the film was less than Vidya Balan’s last film ‘Begum Jaan’.
As per the box office reports, the film collected 2.87 crore on its first Friday. The word of mouth for the movie is good, so it will definitely see some growth in the collection on Saturday and Sunday. On its first day, the film has fared best in Mumbai and other regions were dull. If we compare its opening figure with other content based movies, it stands at the fifth position.
#TumhariSulu picked up after a slow start in the morning shows… Fri ₹ 2.87 cr. India biz… Expected to register robust growth over the weekend.
