Akshay Kumar and Bhumi starrer comedy film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha performed exceptionally well in its first weekend in the Chinese market. The film, which debuted at position 2 at the box office, roared to position 1 on both Saturday and Sunday. Despite facing competition from many local and international movies at the Chinese box office, Toilet Hero managed a half-century in its first weekend.
As per the box office reports, the film collected $3.15 million on Sunday to take its total Chines box office collection to $9.06 million (₹ 61.17 Cr) after 3 days. The trend at the ticket counters is extremely positive, so the film should score a century in the first week or in the second weekend.
