Performing along the lines of expectation, Akshay Kumar’s yet another film will become a member of century club of Bollywood. Though the film did not have an extraordinary opening, the word of mouth publicity did magic for the movie and it became another successful movie of 2017. After more than 70% growth on 15th August, we were expecting that the film may cross 100 crores in the very first week, but that did not happen and it fell short of the magic number.
As per the box office reports, the film collected 6.10 crores on seventh day to take its total domestic box office collection to 96.05 crores. The daily collection of the film in the first week is as follows:
Day 1: 13.10 Crores, Day 2: 17.10 Crores, Day 3: 21.25 Crores, Day 4: 12 Crores, Day 5: 20.00 Crores, Day 6: 6.50 Crores, Day 7: 6.10 Crores
#ToiletEkPremKatha Fri 13.10 cr, Sat 17.10 cr, Sun 21.25 cr, Mon 12 cr, Tue 20 cr, Wed 6.50 cr, Thu 6.10 cr. Total: ₹ 96.05 cr. ??? #TEPK

Two new releases have hit the screens this week, so TEPK will lose some percentage of its screens. As those new films are not big, TEPK will continue dominating the box office even in the second week. It should find no hindrance in crossing 100 crores on second Friday and the total collection after second weekend should be 110-115 crores. The lifetime collection will depend on the collection in second weekend. If it could manage to post 22-23 crores in second weekend, it may touch 150 crores, otherwise, it will settle between 135-145 crores.
