West Bengal has become a hotbed of political crimes in recent times. Every day the ruling party, Trinamool Congress (TMC), is massacring its political opponents and common citizens who do not follow the agenda of the party. The mainstream media have closed their eyes and do not report those crimes. But because of social media, people come to know about all those crimes. 
Advocate Prashant Patel is very active on social media and has several thousand followers on Twitter. I am not very sure what post of advocate Patel did not go well with the Trinamool Congress (TMC) Rajya Sabha MP Derek O’ Brien and he completely violated Parliamentary ethics by misusing the liberty to speak in the House of the Parliament. He used the parliamentary immunity shield to accuse a private citizen because he knows that he might not face defamation case if he says something in the parliament. He called advocate Patel ‘India’s most hatred spreading monger‘. “In the name of Parliamentary immunity, He can’t damage my reputation. I will take legal action.“, Patel tweeted.
Now the same MP is threatening another citizen on the Twitter. A Twitter user Rishi Bagree tweeted a political news from ZeeNews which says “Mamata Banerjee the PM candidate of anti-BJP front, Says Omar Abdullah . Seems everyone is losing faith in Rahul Gandhi“. After seeing this tweet, the TMC MP threatened him using the following tweet: “Next time, your twitter handle too will be mentioned #InsideParliament You liar. You spreader of #FakeNews You cheat. I was standing next to @OmarAbdullah and my leader @MamataOfficial when media was addressed. Omar said nothing of the sort. @TwitterIndia stop this nonsense“
Parliament is used for discussing the problems country is currently facing, but it seems that some politicians are more interested in maligning common people using the house of the parliament. Hope Indians will take note of such politicians who use parliament to threaten a common people.
