Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai is on its path to become the biggest grosser for him by toppling his previous best, Bajrangi Bhaijaan (320.34 crores). Christmas releases always rock the box office because of a long holiday season and TZH did not disappoint the industry this year. Although there are many HIT films in 2017, Golmaal Again, the only BLOCKBUSTER of the year before TZH, was waiting for its partner. Tiger Zinda Hai became the second blockbuster of the year by doing an excellent business in the very first week.
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 14.92 crores on second Saturday to take its total domestic box office collection to 232.52 crores after 9 days. The daily collection of the film in the second week is as follows: Fri 11.56 cr, Sat 14.92 cr.
#TigerZindaHai is UNSTOPPABLE… Expected to cross ₹ 250 cr mark today [Sun]… [Week 2] Fri 11.56 cr, Sat 14.92 cr. Total: ₹ 232.52 cr. India biz. #TZH

Because of the new year, the film will witness a humongous growth in the collection on Sunday and Monday. There is a possibility of about 270-275 crores after second Monday. As the next big movies will come on January 26, the film has enough gas to accelerate so that it can challenge Aamir’s Dangal.
