Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Thugs Of Hindostan ran out of gas in the second week and the collection dropped by about 94%. The film may fail to cross even 150 crore (only Hindi release) in its lifetime. Thugs of Hindostan, which was being touted as one of the biggest releases of the year, failed miserably at the ticket windows.
As per the box office reports, the film earned merely 8.79 crore in the second week to take its total domestic box office collection to 143.74 crore after 15 days. The film has 6 more days before Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 hits the screens. The current trend insinuates that the film will end its box office journey at 145-146 crore.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared, “#ThugsOfHindostan NOSEDIVES in Week 2… Biz has plummeted everywhere… Has almost exhausted its run… The horrific numbers are an eye opener for the industry… Data of #Hindi, #Tamil and #Telugu versions follow…”.
