Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Thugs Of Hindostan found no taker at the Chinese box office. A few months ago, the film was vehemently rejected by Indian moviegoers as it failed to cross 150
The film collected only $4.71 million in its first weekend in the Chinese market which is lower than Akshay Kumar’s Padman. The star power of Aamir Khan did not work this time as the makers had offered a pathetic product to the Chinese audience. Producers have sold the movie at 100+ crore, which means Chinese distributors will in a huge loss. This will definitely affect the future films of Aamir Khan and his films might not fetch such a huge price again.
The Chinese box office collection of Thugs of Hindostan is as follows:
Friday (Day 1): $ 1.51 mn
Saturday (Day 2): $ 1.56 mn
Sunday (Day 3): $ 1.61 mn
Total: $ 4.71 mn [₹ 32.93 cr]
