The Kashmir Files is an upcoming Bollywood film written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Abhishek Agarwal. In lead roles, the film stars Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar, Puneet Issar, and Anupam Kher. The film narrates the story of the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus in the early 1990s due to Islamic Jihad. Thousands of innocent Kashmiri Hindus were killed and converted to Islam, and lakhs of Kashmiri Hindus are still living like refugees in their motherland.

The film was scheduled for release on Republic day but was postponed due to the Omicron variant spread. Now, the film is scheduled to release on March 11, 2022. After the success of The Tashkent Files, this will be another movie based on the true story of director Vivek Agnihotri.
