Director Ali Abbas Zafar’s latest film Tiger Zinda Hai has broken many records at the domestic box office in first 11 days and is racing closer to hitting a triple century mark. The film made the most of the holiday season, but it witnessed a huge drop in the collection after holidays. Now the film might find it hard to maintain the pace because moviegoers usually do not watch action movies multiple times.
As per the box office reports, the film garnered 7.83 crores on second Tuesday to take its total domestic box office collection to 280.62 crores. The daily collection of the film in the second week is as follows: Fri 11.56 cr, Sat 14.92 cr, Sun 22.23 cr, Mon 18.04 cr, Tue 7.83 cr.
First working day after a long holiday period [Christmas and New Year], yet #TigerZindaHai remains SUPER-STRONG on its second Tue… [Week 2] Fri 11.56 cr, Sat 14.92 cr, Sun 22.23 cr, Mon 18.04 cr, Tue 7.83 cr. Total: ₹ 280.62 cr. India biz. #TZH

Tiger Zinda Hai is Salman’s 12th Bollywood venture to enter the much-coveted 100 crores club. All eyes are now set on Tiger Zinda Hai’s lifetime collections which can easily surpass Salman’s previous records of Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 320.34 cr) and Sultan (Rs 300.45). The film might become the highest grosser for Salman Khan in the domestic market, but it will remain at the 3rd position in terms of worldwide gross. Also, it might not be able to cross the lifetime collection of Aamir’s Dangal which amassed 387.39 crores in India.
TZH is not a good film. It earned because of holidays and nowadays only Salman from A-listers do action movies.
