Gold is an upcoming Hindi film directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment banner. It stars Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, and Kunal Kapoor in lead roles. It is a fictional story set on the backdrop of true incidents about India winning its first gold medal in field hockey as a free nation in the 1948 Summer Olympics.
