Sultan Second Day Box Office Collection in China : Film Continues to Struggle

Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer sports drama Sultan failed to show any growth on its second day in the Chinese market. As per the box office reports, the film earned $1.09 mn on Saturday to take its total Chinese box office collection to $2.03 mn [~ 14 cr] after 2 days. The film might have the similar fate on Sunday as per the current trend. The first-weekend collection may be less than 25 crores, so the film will fail to post a decent total in its lifetime.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted the film’s collection on Twitter. “#Sultan continues to struggle… Witnesses limited growth on Day 2 in China, but with a low starting point, the growth should’ve been threefold or thereabouts… Let’s see what Day 3 [Sun] has in store… Fri $ 940,000 Sat $ 1.09 mn Total: $ 2.03 mn [₹ 14.38 cr]“.
