Salman-Anushka starrer Sultan remained rock steady in the second weekend as the new releases couldn’t impress the moviegoers. Though there was a huge drop in the collection compared to the previous week, the film remained at numero uno position. The Indian film market is very limited, so the drop in the collection can be attributed to the huge first week earning.
As per the box office reports, the movie amassed Fri 7.43 cr, Sat 11.46 cr, Sun 15.18 cr. to take its total domestic box office collection to 263.23 crores after second weekend. The next big movies are scheduled to be released on 12th Aug, so Sultan might enjoy a smooth run at the domestic ticket counters till that day. The kind of growth it enjoyed in the second weekend insinuates that the film is heading for 300+ crores collection in the domestic market and it might become the biggest grosser for Salman Khan.
