Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s latest horror comedy film Stree has come out with flying colors on second Saturday as it witnessed an exceptional growth of 73.80% as compared to Friday. Positive word of mouth and critics reviews are doing wonders for the movie at ticket windows.
As per the box office reports, the film earned 7.63 crore on second Saturday to take its total domestic box office collection to 72.41 crore after 9 days. Looking at the current trend, it seems that Stree will surpass 82 crore by the end of the second weekend.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted out the figures of Stree, “#Stree continues to dazzle… Gathers speed on Sat… Growth on Sat [vis-à-vis Fri]: 73.80%… Expectedly, Sun should score higher numbers… [Week 2] Fri 4.39 cr, Sat 7.63 cr. Total: ₹ 72.41 cr. India biz.”.
The film will meet several new competitors next Friday, so it needs to maintain the pace during weekdays to score a big century at the box office. New Bollywood releases of this week could not dent its collection. Stree will cross 100 crore for sure, but the further journey will depend on the content of the new releases in its third week.

Week 1: ₹ 60.39 cr
Friday (Day 8): ₹ 4.39 cr
Saturday (Day 9): ₹ 7.63 cr
