Now it is running on a very small number of screens, but the trend suggests that it might touch 110 crores in its lifetime. The fourth collaboration between Ranjan and the lead actors Kartik Aaryan and Nushrat Bharucha has emerged as a commercial success at the ticket counter. The film received mixed reviews; while the critics praised the humor, they were critical of the misogynistic plot.
