Simmba Collects 230 Crore at Indian Box Office

Despite facing competition from new releases Uri and TAPM, Ranveer Singh’s Simmba is rock steady in the third week. The film has been performing extremely well since its opening day and has already scored a double century at the domestic box office.

As per the box office reports, the film earned 2.29 crore on third Tuesday to take its total domestic box office collection to 230 crore after 19 days. Simmba has also become the biggest grosser for its director Rohit Shetty. It will meet a new competitor Why Cheat India (WCI) on fourth Friday. If WCI fails to impress the audience, Simmba may extend its box office journey and may reach 250 crore in the lifetime.

Week 1: ₹ 150.81 cr
Week 2: ₹ 61.62 cr
Friday (Day 15): ₹ 2.60 cr
Saturday (Day 16): ₹ 4.51 cr
Sunday (Day 17): ₹ 5.30 cr
Monday (Day 18): ₹ 2.87 cr
Tuesday (Day 19): ₹ 2.29 cr
Total: ₹ 230 cr BLOCKBUSTER
