Rohit Shetty’s latest action comedy film Simmba witnessed 12.60% jump in the collection on Saturday. Despite being a non-holiday release, the film became the biggest opener for its lead actor Ranveer Singh. With double-digit growth on Saturday, the film has sealed its fate at the box office.
As per the box office reports, the film earned 23.33 crore on Saturday to take its total domestic box office collection to 44.05 crore after two days. A positive growth on day 2 indicates that the film has been accepted by moviegoers. Therefore, it should continue its upward movement even on Sunday. On Friday, the film got the maximum collection from Maharashtra/Gujarat regions, but on Saturday, other regions also joined the party. As Monday and Tuesday are holidays, it should cross 100 crore mark in just 5 days.
