Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer action film Simmbadid excellent business on its first day at the box office. Although the film underperformed in Delhi/NCR, a humongous collection in Maharashtra/Gujarat regions helped the film to post a big total on first Friday.
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 20.72 crore on its opening day. The film not only earned more than SRK’s Zero but also became the biggest opener for Ranveer Singh. It has got good ratings from almost all critics. Also, the word of mouth publicity is positive, so there is an immense possibility that the film will get closer to 100 crore mark in the first weekend itself. The timing of the release and poor response to Zero will help the film to gross a huge total in its lifetime.
