John Abraham and Manoj Bajpayee starrer action film Satyameva Jayate has been performing extremely well at the ticket counters since its opening day. Despite facing competition from 3 films in the second week, the movie is earning more than its competitors in some circuits.
As per the box office reports, the film earned about 1.04 crores on second Monday to take its total domestic box office collection to 76.90 crores after 13 days. At the current pace, it should easily surpass 80 crores in the Indian market. After Welcome 2, Satyameva Jayate is the biggest grosser for John Abraham as a lead actor. It has not only given tough competition to Akshay Kumar’s Gold but also has affected Gold’s lifetime collection. It should cross the lifetime collection of Veere Di Wedding (80.25 cr) in its third week and finish its box office journey under 85 crores.
