Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju, a biopic on Sanjay Dutt, is about to reach the end of its theatrical run, but it has already shattered several box office records in 38 days. The daily collection is now less than 50 lakhs which means it has the potential to add 2-3 crores more before it leaves all the screens.
As per the box office reports, the film earned about 1.20 crores in the sixth weekend to take its total domestic box office collection to 342.42 crores after 38 days. The sixth-weekend collection is less than Padmavat’s sixth-weekend collection, but it should cross 343 crores by the end of the sixth week.
The Rajkumar Hirani directorial venture has also done extremely well in the overseas markets. It crossed the lifetime business of Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2 in Australia. With this new feat, Ranbir Kapoor’s film now stands at number three position next to Aamir Khan’s Dangal and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat.
The box office collection of the film is as follows:
Week 1: ₹ 202.51 cr
Week 2: ₹ 92.67 cr
Week 3: ₹ 31.62 cr
Week 4: ₹ 10.48 cr
