Salman Khan’s latest action flick Race 3 failed miserably at the box office despite being a holiday release. The film almost died after first 4-5 days at the ticket counters and a whopping 85% of the earnings have come from the very first week. The film has basically survived at the box office due to Eid holiday.
As per the box office reports, the film collected merely 75 lakhs in the fourth week to take its total domestic box office collection to 171.11 crores after 28 days. The film was already in a big trouble because of its bad content and the release of Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju proved to be the last nail in the coffin. It has been voted as one of the worst Indian movies on IMDB, so there was nothing it could have done for its survival at the box office. Sanju has been smashing box office records since its opening, so there is no chance that Race 3 will now be able to add even 1 crore to its lifetime collection.
