Vishal Bhardwaj’s latest release Pataakha did show some improvement in the collection on its second day at the ticket counters. As per the box office reports, the film earned 1.40 crore on first Saturday to take its total domestic box office collection to 2.30 crore after two days. The film should post some growth on Sunday too, but the first-weekend collection may not cross 5 crore. A poor weekend will mar its lifetime prospect and it may fail to score even 15 crore. The film is performing badly in all regions and none of the regions witnessed humongous growth on Saturday.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collection of the movie on twitter. “#Pataakha shows positive trending on Day 2, but needs to recover lost ground by maintaining a strong momentum on Day 3 and subsequent days… Will get advantage of holiday on Day 5 [Tue]… Fri 90 lakhs, Sat 1.40 cr. Total: ₹ 2.30 cr [875 screens]. India biz.”, he wrote.

The box office collection of the film is as follows:
Friday (Day 1): ₹ 90 lakhs
Saturday (Day 2): ₹ 1.40 cr
Total: ₹ 2.30 cr
