Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama Padmaavat has emerged victorious at the box office as the movie successfully crossed the 100 crore mark in just four days. Padmaavat finally hit the screens on January 25, 2018, amid much hullaballoo. The film faced massive protests from certain fringe groups across the nation, demanding a pan India ban on the period drama. The collection should remain steady in the first week and it may touch 170 crores in the opening week. The film has one more open week, so the lifetime collection may cross 250 crores. If the film had a smooth release, it would have easily crossed 300 crores in its lifetime.
