Rajkummar Rao’s latest black comedy-drama film Newton remained steady in its second week despite having competition from Judwaa 2. Although the daily collection was about 1.5 crores or less, the film became a profitable venture for the makers.
As per the box office reports, the film collected 7.09 crores in the second week to take its total domestic box office collection to 18.92 crores after fourteen days. The daily collection in the second week is as follows: Fri 91 lakhs, Sat 1.66 cr, Sun 1.75 cr, Mon 1.44 cr, Tue 45 lakhs, Wed 44 lakhs, Thu 44 lakhs.

As there is no big release until Diwali, Newton has two more open weeks. Also, its collection remained unaffected despite competition, so there is a possibility that the film will cross 25 crores in its lifetime.
