Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu starrer Mulk remained steady in its second weekend, but the daily collection was less than 2 crores. The film had a disastrous opening weekend which is going to hurt it in the lifetime. With two big films releasing on Wednesday, the further journey of Mulk seems extremely difficult.
As per the box office reports, the film earned 4.75 crores in the second weekend to take its total domestic box office collection to 16.25 crores after 10 days. The total budget of the film is approximately 20 crores. Will it recover its cost? It depends on the performance of new releases Gold and Satyamev Jayate. The current trend suggests that Mulk is heading towards 19-20 crores in its lifetime.
The box office collection of the film is as follows:
Week 1: ₹ 11.50 cr
Friday (Day 8): ₹ 1.00 cr
Saturday (Day 9): ₹ 1.75 cr
Sunday (Day 10): ₹ 2.00 cr
Total: ₹ 16.25 cr
