Hrithik Roshan’s epic adventure-romance film Mohenjo Daro didn’t live up to the hype and expectation. The movie was expected to beat the competition as Hrithik and Ashutosh were coming together after a long hiatus, but the film failed miserably at the box office. 
As per the box office reports, the movie collected 8.87 crores on the opening day and remained far below to its competitor Rustom. Though the movie has positive critics review, the moviegoers didn’t like the content of the film. It opened to a good response in the south India, but it remained dull in the main Hindi regions. It needs more than 50% jump in the collection in the coming days to put a decent total, but the current trend doesn’t suggest so. If it remained dull during weekend, Rustom might cross 20 crores on Monday.
