Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde starrer epic film Mohenjo Daro had enormous pre-release buzz and expectation, but it seems that it couldn’t attract the moviegoers because of the poor execution of the concept. The film has been struggling since day one because it is not a solo release and its competitor Rustom has a better story and direction.
As per the box office reports, the movie garnered Fri 8.87 crores, Sat 9.60 crores, and Sun 12.07 crores to take its total domestic box office collection to 30.54 crores after 3 days. Though the film witnessed jump in the collection everyday, its earning was marred due to another release Rustom which is performing exceptionally well at the box office. Monday is a national holiday in India, so the collection will remain in the double digit, but it might drop below 5 crores once weekend is over. The budget of the film is more than 100 crores, so it has to earn at least 80 crores in India to make investors happy.
