As predicted by us, Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra starrer romantic drama Meri Pyaari Bindu became a victim of juggernaut of Bahubali 2. Though the movie had a good content, the release day/time was not wisely decided and as a result of that it became one of the flops of the year.
As per the box office reports, the first week domestic box office collection of the film is 9.20 crores. The collections of the film during weekdays were in lakhs and hence it could not post a decent number.
#MeriPyaariBindu Fri 1.75 cr, Sat 2.25 cr, Sun 2.50 cr, Mon 85 lakhs, Tue 75 lakhs, Wed 60 lakhs, Thu 50 lakhs. Total: ₹ 9.20 cr. India biz.

Earlier it had just two competitors BB2 and Sarkar 3, but now it has to face competition from two new releases Hindi Medium and Half Girlfriend, too. So, there is no chance for this movie to move any further. Thus, the lifetime collection may not be more than 10 crores.
