Manmarziyaan Box Office Collection Day One : Film Has Below Average Opening

Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal starrer Manmarziyan failed to register a good opening at the box office. The film reportedly witnessed a poor occupancy of around 10 percent in the morning shows across India. Although the footfalls increased in the evening shows, it did not change the fate of the movie on its opening day.Manmarziyaan Box Office Collection Day One : Film Has Below Average Opening

As per the box office reports, the film earned 3.52 crore on its first day in the Indian market. The film has received positive reviews from many critics and the word of mouth publicity is also decent, so the collection should grow on Saturday and Sunday.

#Manmarziyaan has a low Day 1… Started on a dull note in the morning, but picked up towards evening… North circuits were better… Biz will scale upwards on Sat and Sun [a norm these days], but real test will be on weekdays… Fri ₹ 3.52 cr. India biz.“, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The poor opening might hurt the film in the long run because weekdays collection may not remain steady due to its content. The film is targeted to a specific set of audience, so it will be interesting if it could become a profitable venture for the makers.

The box office collection of the film is as follows:
Friday (Day 1): ₹ 3.52 cr
Total: ₹ 3.52 cr
