Manikarnika Box Office Collection Day 2 | Thackeray Enjoys Good Growth on Saturday

As expected Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika witnessed humongous growth on Saturday because of the national holiday. The collection in all regions almost doubled on the second day and if it could maintain the momentum, the first-weekend collection may go past 40 crore.

As per the box office reports, the film earned 18.10 crore on first Saturday to take its total domestic box office collection to 26.85 crore. Some of the critics have given bad ratings to the movie because of its patriotic theme, however, the word of mouth publicity is positive. Uri had also received bad ratings from the same critics, but the movie has become the first blockbuster of the year. Manikarnika might not become a blockbuster movie because of its huge budget, but it should become a profitable venture for the makers.

The box office collection of Manikarnika is as follows:
Friday (Day 1): ₹ 8.75 cr
Saturday (Day 2): ₹ 18.10 cr
Total: ₹ 26.85 cr

Another release of the week, Thackeray, is performing extremely well in Maharashtra and the film also had a good jump on Saturday. As per the box office reports, the film earned 10 crore on first Saturday to take its total domestic box office collection to 16 crore. The trend at the box office suggest that the movie is heading towards 20+ crore in the first weekend.

Saturday (Day 2): ₹ 10.00 cr
Total: ₹ 16.00 cr
