Farhan Akhtar’s latest release Lucknow Central remained dull on its opening day. The film never looked exciting from the very first look, so a poor collection is not unexpected. Lucknow Central is an Indian Hindi prison escape movie, directed by Ranjit Tiwari and produced by Nikhil Advani, under the banner of Emmay Entertainment.
As per the box office reports, the film collected 2.04 crores on first Friday. It needs a big boost in the collection on Saturday and Sunday to post a decent total in first weekend.

Most of Farhan Akhtar’s movies do well in multiplexes and remain dull in single screens. This time his movie has competition from Kangana’s Simran, so it is not performing even in multiplexes. Looking at the current trend, it seems that the first weekend collection will remain below 10 crores.
