Yash and Srinidhi Shetty starrer action-period drama film KGF (Kolar Gold Fields) performed extremely well on its opening day. However, a large percentage of the collection has come from Karnataka. The Hindi version did below-average business because of the competition from SRK’s Zero.
As per the box office reports, the film earned 18.10 crore (all languages) on its first Friday. The Hindi version collected merely 2.10 crore and the major portion of the collection came from Mumbai. The word of mouth publicity for the movie is very encouraging, but it might fail to post a decent total in Hindi regions.
