Despite facing competition from Akshay Kumar’s superhit film 2.0, Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput’s Kedarnath has put up a big total in its first weekend. On Friday and Saturday, it performed better than 2.0, but it could not repeat the same performance on Sunday as 2.0 took the lead. However, the collection reached the double-digit figure on Sunday.
As per the box office reports, the film earned 10.75 crore on Sunday to take its total domestic box office collection to 27.75 crore after 3 days. The film has done excellent business in Mumbai and Delhi regions. Small cities and single screens are mostly dull, so it will be interesting to see how does it fare during the weekdays. However, a healthy weekend has almost ensured a half-century in its lifetime as it has one more open week to do wonder at the ticket windows.
