Varun Dhawan’s one of the most awaited movies ‘Judwa 2‘ opened with a bang at the box office in India and overseas. It is a kind of remake of David Dhawan’s Judwaa, which was a smash hit of 1997. The film stars Varun Dhawan playing twins Raja and Prem opposite Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu.
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 16.10 crores on first Friday, which is fourth best opening of the year. As expected, it did not get good ratings from critics, but the word of mouth is really good. So, the collection will defintiely keep growing during weekend.

The film is performing extremely well in all regions because of Dussehra holiday. It has created history in Bihar by recording the highest opening day collection of all time in the circuit for an outright Hindi film edging past Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Looking at the current trend at the ticket counters, it seems that the collection may surpass 20 crores on Saturday and Sunday. The first weekend collection is going to be around 54-55 crores and it might be another big HIT for Varun Dhawan depending on the collection after Tuesday.
