Indian PM Narendra Modi dives into Arabian Sea to pray at ancient Dwarka

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed an underwater puja at the ancient city of Dwarka in the Arabian Sea. PM Modi chose to go underwater in traditional attire with a diving helmet, accompanied by professional divers. He also offered peacock feathers to Lord Krishna and meditated on the sea bed.

Later, at a public function in Dwarka, the Prime Minister inaugurated Sudarshan Setu, a cable-stayed bridge connecting Okha mainland and Beyt Dwarka island. The bridge cost around Rs. 980 crores to build and is the longest of its kind in the country, spanning around 2.32 km.
Notably, the Sudarshan Setu features a unique design, with a footpath adorned with verses from Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and images of Bhagwan Krishna on both sides. Moreover, it incorporates solar panels on the upper segments of the footpath, capable of generating one megawatt of electricity.
