Akshay Kumar starrer rom-com Housefull 3 entered Bollywood’s most coveted century club on second Wednesday despite being thrashed by the critics. Though the movie witnessed drop in the collection in the second week, the healthy collection in the very first week ensured its entry into the century club. After Airlift, this is the second film of Akshay Kumar in 2016 that performed exceptionally well at the box office.
As per the box office reports, the movie collected Fri 3.50 cr, Sat 5.05 cr, Sun 6.65 cr, Mon 2.30 cr, Tue 2.05 cr, Wed 1.85 cr., and Thu 1.60 cr. to take its total domestic box office collection to 103.10 crores after 14 days. The movie has also done excellent business in the overseas market; it has collected over 40 crores in 2 weeks. This week controversial film Udta Punjab will hit the theaters along with other less-known films, so Housefull 3 might lose some percentage of its total screen counts and hence the 3rd weekend collection might remain in single digit. The lifetime domestic box office collection of this film seems to be 112-115 crores.
