Rani Mukerji starrer Hichki could survive the onslaughts of Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2 in the second weekend. Although the film lost a large number of screens to the new release, it managed to add a decent total to its kitty on second Sunday. The film would have fared better in the absence of competition, but the juggernaut of Baaghi 2 will definitely affect its lifetime collection.
As per the box office reports, the film collected 8.40 crores in the second weekend to take its total domestic box office collection to 34.50 crores after 10 days. The daily collection of the film in the second week is as follows: Fri 2.40 cr, Sat 2.60 cr, Sun 3.40 cr.
#Hichki biz at a glance…
Week 1: ₹ 26.10 cr
Weekend 2: ₹ 8.40 cr [681 screens]
Total: ₹ 34.50 cr

The collection will continue going south in the coming days, but it has already earned HIT tag because of low production cost. It might miss the half-century figure by a few crores if Baaghi 2 continued its magic at the ticket counters.
