In the third week, Rani Mukerji’s school drama Hichki lost not only screens but also the business. The struggle of the film started in the second week when Tiger Shroff’s action flick Baaghi 2 stole the limelight at the box office. Hichki lost a large percentage of screens to make way for Baaghi 2. In the film, Rani has played the role of an aspiring teacher who suffers from a neurological disorder, Tourette Syndrome and despite her shortcomings, she fights back her detractors.
As per the box office reports, the film collected 4.15 crores in the third week to take its total domestic box office collection to 42.55 crores after 21 days. The daily collection of the film in its third week is as follows: Fri 50 lakhs, Sat 95 lakhs, Sun 1.30 cr, Mon 35 lakhs, Tue 35 lakhs, Wed 35 lakhs, Thu 35 lakhs.

It should be able to add another 1-2 crore to its kitty and the lifetime collection should touch 45 crores. The film is definitely going to miss a half-century at the box office because of Tiger’s Baaghi 2.
