Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan starrer Hamari Adhuri Kahani witnessed more than 50% drop in collection at the domestic box office on its first Monday. Due to average mouth publicity and stiff competition from Hollywood flick Jurassic World, it could not post good collection in the first weekend and now with kind of drop, the movie is really going to leave a big hole in producer’s pockets.
As per the box office reports, the movie collected about 3.05 crores on first Monday to take its total domestic box office collections to about 19.50 crores. In the best situation, the movie can garner 24-25 crores in its first week and the lifetime collections might be about 32-35 crores. Poor performance indeed.
