Ajay Devgn’s latest comedy film Golmaal Again shattered many box office records on its way to become the highest grosser of 2017. The film started big a bang on last Friday despite losing a large share of screens to Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar. The film might have scored more if it had more screens.
As per the box office reports, the film amassed over 136 crores in just seven days. The daily collection of the film in its first week is as follows: Fri 30.14 cr, Sat 28.37 cr, Sun 29.09 cr, Mon 16.04 cr, Tue 13.25 cr, Wed 10.05 cr, Thu 9.13 cr.

The film does not have any new competitor in the second week, so it is going to remain the first choice of moviegoers. As the decline in the collection during weekdays was very minimal, it may add more than 25 crores to its kitty in the second weekend. The first-week collection made sure that the film will cross 175 crores in its lifetime. Will it join 200 crores club? It can not be answered right now; the collection in the second weekend will answer it.
