Farhan Akhtar’s latest release Fukrey Returns witnessed an extremely positive response at the ticket counters. Although the film does not have a big star, its brand name was able to bring moviegoers to the theaters. The first part of the film had an average opening, but the opening of the second part is along the lines of a big movie.
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 8.10 crores on its first Friday. The film started with a good occupancy of around 25% on Friday. The occupancy in Delhi/NCR and East Punjab regions is excellent as the film has Punjabi flavor.

The opening of this film is much better than the recent smaller films like Tumhari Sulu, Firangi, Bareilly Ki Barfi etc. The film is riding on positive word of mouth and reviews, so the collection will definitely go up during the weekend and the first-weekend collection may cross 30 crores.
