Bholi Punjaban’s (Richa Chadda) Fukrey Returns performed like a big movie at the box office in its first weekend. Although the film does not have any big star, it could do wonders at the ticket counters just because of its excellent content.
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 32.20 crores in the very first weekend. The daily collection of the film in its first week is as follows: Fri 8.10 cr, Sat 11.30 cr, Sun 12.80 cr. The film is all set to cross the lifetime collection of its first installment on Monday and it may touch 45 crores in the first week.

It is doing an excellent business in Delhi/NCR and Punjab regions because of its Punjabi content. The Delhi/UP collection has gone over 10 crores in first three days which is simply huge for a small budget film like this. The momentum of the film will remain intact during weekdays because the word of mouth for it is extremely positive. It will not have any major competition at the box office before Christmas, so the lifetime collection may surpass 70-75 crores.
