Kapil Sharma’s Firangi had one of the worst openings of the year as it was unable to attract the moviegoers. From the very first look, the film had garnered some attention, but it failed to do any magic at the box office. The opening collection of Firangi is far less than that of the last film of Kapil Sharma, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, which had grossed about 9 crore on day one.
As per the box office reports, the film collected 2.10 crore on its first Friday. The movie has been thrashed by all critics and the word of mouth is poor to average, so there is no chance for the movie to show any improvement during the weekend.

The first-weekend collection may not touch even 10 crore. The film has fared better in Delhi/UP and East Punjab with collections of 50 lakh and 30 lakh respectively on day one but the collection in Mumbai and Gujarat is poor. The all India first day collection of Firangi is similar to the first-day collection of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon in Delhi/UP.
