After scoring big in the opening weekend, the business of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 2 declined substantially on weekdays. As expected the film could not repeat the performance of Avengers Infinity War in the Indian market. The reason for failure can be attributed to its R-rated content, which has a very limited audience in India. As per the box office reports, the film collected 48.18 crores in its first week at the Indian box office. The sharp decline during weekdays is going to mar its lifetime collection as the film will struggle to gather a good number of footfalls in the coming days. The lifetime collection is heading towards 65-70 crores because it will lose many screens to new Bollywood release ‘Parmanu’.
