Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor starrer Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui had a below-par opening. Due to its story, the film struggled to gather enough footfalls to put a decent total in its first weekend. It is one of the few films of Ayushmann Khurrana that failed to impress moviegoers, and it may be unable to recover its cost. Since Spider-Man is coming on Friday, it has very little chance to survive in the second week. The film needs to maintain the momentum during weekdays to cross even 25 crores in its lifetime.
