Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Bhoot had a below-par opening on Friday. Although the film features big names, the story failed to attract its target audience. Also, the film is facing competition from many new and old releases. Critics and moviegoers gave it the thumbs down on its opening day, so there is very little chance that the collection will improve during the weekend. At best it can garner 16-20 crores in the first weekend.

Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship is a Bollywood horror-thriller film directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh and jointly produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan. It is based on a true accident that took place in Mumbai. The film features Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Ashutosh Rana in lead roles. It was theatrically released in India on February 21, 2020.
